the rain comes in and prayer is
not the answer here but
war is always an option
                    of course
or the senseless slaughter of children
            laughing in sunlit rooms and
                    look at all of the fuckers
            throughout history who have
                            taken this route

consider all of the teenage girls who will make            the move from rape victim to suicide
                        and then consider the rapists

consider their lawyers

the arguments they make that the fault here
lies entirely with the dead and
how can you possibly settle for anything
less than AN EYE FOR AN EYE?

who will punish the vultures making money
from attempting to absolve the guilty?

it’s a strange way to live, growing
fat off the blood of corpses
