My new girlfriend attends
a church where they believe
Jesus had a twin brother
who died at during childbirth.
Just like Elvis, she says.

When I asked her
what evidence they have
for this, she tells me that
their pastor wears a jumpsuit,
the hymnal’s full of Elvis songs,
so at least it’s never boring,
like real church always is.
