mind,
frees me from
the reins of this
neurotic night terror
and delivers me
unto simple daydream.
Grab onto sharp edges
to gash my wrists
and flood this earth
with broken promises,
and at day break,
the day breaks
my spine and
composes bitter
poetry in my blood.
