Hello and good-bye, it’s hard to say
We will miss you quite a lot
No more seeing that happy smile
Memories will be all we’ve got
You may be gone but always remember
That we think of you all the time
And we are sad to see you leaving us
It seems like such a crime
I know you’ll do well whatever you do
You’ve got the brains and will to make it
The will to succeed and to persevere
Will be sure to make you a hit
And although I know you don’t really need it
I would like to wish you good luck and God speed
It can be a cold and cruel world out there
But don’t let anyone your success impede
I was never good at saying good-byes
So I will say so long for now instead
Just remember us once in a while my friend
And remember what’s important is in your head
