There is too much indiscretion
In the world I know
As I walk along my hesitation grows
Stronger
I wish that I could know where it is
I'm headed and where it is
I've been
But I'm stuck between four walls
Of concrete and chipping plaster
I have heard the stories of the past
that are meant to give me hope
and perhaps even peace
but as I think about it
It's not that sane, not good
Enough for someone like me
To believe in
So I take my time and look around
As the world revolves on it's axel
And simply
Keep breathing
