Vadim Bystritski

call me when you get home
but before I got around
they broke my neck
from the hospital
I wanted to call you
but remembered
that you went to bed late
and will probably sleep untill noon

tweaking the keys
she tells me about running out of gas
and the kids in the car
so I'd give her some change
knowing well
that there isn't a car
to that key
miles and miles around here

ok
I'll pay
but will you
please put
your clothes
back on

mistakes
we all make
last night drunk at the bar
I mistook some woman
for my wife
regrets to both of them

just a bad habit
when passing by the windows
of department stores
I often
look under the skirts of manikins
sorry
that wasn't a manikin

you can look straight into my eyes
just don't look down
or up

the economy of style-1:
when unable to dry my hands
I stuff them in my pockets

the economy of style-2:
before leaving the bathroom
he washed only one hand

wrapping on a towel
is harder and takes longer
then putting on clothes
