wonders about it all

writes this down

as if doing so--the scribbling
the forcing pencil lead point
over smooth white stock

will purify her

seeing the results
dirty words in dark mineral
marring the white sheet
she begins to think
just the opposite
bound to occur

that her confessions
only ruin her more
