Eleven score or so years ago
our fathers brought forth on this continent
a new nation,
conceived
as the ultimate tax dodge,
and
dedicated to the proposition
that some are more equal than others
and
ever since then we have fought wars
for the furtherance of those two objectives
Now
“It is for us the living”
“to be here dedicated to
the great task remaining before us”,
that
government of the people,
by the people,
for the people,
shall just once be instituted here on earth
