Taking Poetry to the Streets by Janet Kuypers After seeing an image of a Chicago poet reading poetry in the streets of Chicago for an event, Kuypers decided to collect some poems and read them not only in the streets, but also at parks, resaurants, a gas station and even a mall in Nashville (in from of the life-sized replica of the Parthenon), New Orleans and Naples in December 2008 (one poem was even read on the street on Christmas day).
