So, it will be a busy time, so I really hope everyone out there has the BEST CHRISTMAS!!!Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday... We have seen family in Shellsburg PA (I am sure John Yotko was really pleased to have some time to see his parents, and it was good that Cynthia Johnson and Dave Johnson were able to make it early to John’s parent’s house, since we had to leave early so we would not be driving on Christmas), so as the snow started there (a day after it started in Chicago), we drove (and the traffic was HORRENDOUS through all of Virginia, holding our 13 hour drive up by another 3 hours) to Jacksonville FLA for the night before making it to the bottom of the state to see my dad and sister Sandy in Naples. Attempted a little tennis this morning, but Sam just started the turkey for everyone else... (She was too disgusted with the gizzard and the heart and the neck, so John wanted then pulled out so he could eat them. Lovely.) I have eggplant Parmesan along with the vegetables, and Sandy even bought chocolate wine for after dinner today and tomorrow. (That and we’ll have our “Jamaican Coffee” of Tia Maria and coffee, and I’m sure I’ll have the chocolate-covered pineapple “gingerbread” man from the fruit basket she mailed to dad for Christmas...) John decided on the way to my dad’s that he wanted to have two days in New Orleans, so he just reserved a hotel in Metairie on the 30th and the 31st, so we’ll have a fun drive home on the 1st of the new year.
