I hate having to be the voice of reason, but here goes
you have to do nice things
okay, you knew that, but you don’t think about the nice things
and maybe that could be part of the solution
you think, I can take a girl out to dinner
but have you ever cleaned up the living room
so you could have dinner there
and it would seem like a restaurant
you could give her flowers
but if it’s near Valentine’s Day, don’t bother
but give them on a weekday
when she doesn’t expect it
and tell her you got them for her
because you thought of her
and you thought she deserved them
well, there are other examples
but I won’t get into them now
I think you get the idea
