the Cycle of Life 2010 Janet Kuypers (poetry converted to prose)     when my mother died, that’s when the forest fire started. and the whole forest burned down.     i know, i know, the cycle of life, i get it. but since then, i’ve collected plants — i can’t let things die. my office is like a rainforest and these hanging growing creatures have taken over my home.     i know, i get it, the cycle of life. but now that she’s gone, i want to make sure that everything lives.
