Enjoy this archive of past feature web pages (and video links) since 2010 (with bonus older footage from 2003-2009).     The Café hosed the poetry open mic and feature show weekly (at 5115 North Lincoln Ave. in Chicago, just south of Foster). the 2020 book reading series Because The Café Gallery open mic ran at the Gallery Cabaret in Chicago starting at 7:00 and had to end by 9:00 PM because The Café Gallery preceded a music open mic, host Janet Kuypers often started the open mic when it was right at the opening time — when the audience was low — by reading poetry from assorted new Scars Publications book releases (until there was enough of a crowd to start the open mic).
