On August 8^th at 6:00 PM, Kuypers did her first ever scheduled feature reading at a Starbucks! (She has read in small coffee shops and small book stores, but never a major chain coffee shop like this!) If you’d rather drink coffee than a beer while listening to poetry, this Starbucks might be the place for you... Granted, the caffeine might keep you wired, but the poetry may rile you up with Kuypers’ chosen poems at this new feature. Janet Kuypers performed a show at Starbucks, at 2023 W. Roscoe St. in Chicago (between Damen Ave. and Seeley Ave.). Kuypers appeared with Caroline Johnson and Vittorio Carli on August 8th (8/8/09), so check out audio or video clips below (if you missed the live readings).!
