In this live spur of the moment event at the Café in Chicago IL, Kuypers read new poems in the equivalent of a two-part mini feature set... The first part of the evening brought new poems from Kuypers, including a poem already accepted for publication at Heavy Hands Ink, in addition to newly-created “historical” poetry about Field Marshall Rommnel’s actions in Normandy just before D Day. This set of poetry included her political poetry, as well as her poetry about women’s issues. (And thanks to Jenene Ravesloot for joining Kuypers in reading the last poem in her poetry set!)
The second part of this mini-feature event from Kuypers has her short story “Stalker” (which was previously performed with John Yotko in her 2010 show the Stories of Women). (And thanks to John Yotko for joining Kuypers in reading this short story with her — not only in her poetry set, but also in her 2010 45+ minute poetry/prose/video/music performance art show...)
