 Janet Kuypers’ 2021 poetry for “Animal Tales” Janet Kuypers wrote animal-themed poetry for the 2020 book and contest for “Animal Tales”, choosing different animals and experiences to share in her writing. Because the “2020 Animal Tales Anthology” was never produced, they called for submissions again, of only 1 piece, and for shorter versions. A shorter version of one of Janet Kuypers’s poems, “Española Lore”, was accepted for the “2021 Animal Tales Anthology”, where Janet Kuypers had the opportunity to not only read her accepted poem, but also the poems that were accepted for the previous year (plus the first poem she ever wrote, which was most definitely animal-themed), during the Tablerock Poetry Festival 2021 at Tablerock of Salado in Texas 5/8/21 from 5:00-9:00 PM CST.
