    Chicago poet and Austin resident Janet Kuypers returned to Chicago in the beginning of August in 2025, and was honored with the opportunity reinstate her 2010-2015 “the Café Gallery” at The Gallery Cabaret with a for a one-night-only get-together FOR ONLY 2½ HOURS of poetry (prose poems and 1-song musicians are also very welcome to join us) for multiple rounds of open mics before the finalé feature. Once again at The Gallery Cabaret (2020 N. Oakley Ave. in Chicago - one block east of Western Avenue and one block north of Armitage) on Friday, August 22^nd 2025.

    During the evening and in her feature, Janet Kuypers read not only new and politically relevant poetry that is slated to appear in the 2026 CyberWit poetry book of Janet Kuypers’ poetry, but also poetry in the v358 32nd anniversary cc&d book “The Anniversary in this Town” and the Scars Publications book “Every Event of the Year (Volume One: January-June)”. Other classic Janet Kuypers poems were also edited for this 2025 Chicago poetry tour for performance in this one not only.
