    Located at the Lerner Auditorium in the Sulzer Library (4455 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago), Janet Kuypers was highlighted for the majority of an hour in an hour-long event in the August 2013 installment of the “Poetry Saloon at Noon” (sponsored by Saloon Poetry). This one-time-only performance with Janet Kuypers at “Poetry Saloon at Noon” was a lunch-time event (perfect for people when taking a break from working in the Chicagoland area), with a curated//vetted open mic poetry available at the end of the interview and readings by Janet Kuypers.

    Speaking of her readings, Janet Kuypers read throughout her interview three never-before-performed Periodic Table of Poetry poems (including Cerium, Fermium and Polonium), with music in the background by the HA!Man of South Africa, from his 2011 Hotel music, “on the lose”).

    In conjunction with this performance, Janet Kuypers released (through Scars Publications) a chapbook titled Interview to Poetry, which contains the three lengthy Periodic Table of Poetry poems, which you can download at any time.
