A Nightmare

Who did burn her clothes?
Blasted bombs behind her?
Like a frightened hare
She ran naked, amidst the chaos!
Fire licking the teashops
And coffee houses.
Air filled with hydrogen and
Carbon monoxide.
Ordinary men and women
Hopping for a survival
Ran with her, though not naked.
Missiles blasting buildings of
Law and Order Commissions.
A coup in which people had
Different opinions.
Options were blocked.
Bank accounts were frozen.
No food, no medicine
Calamity without a stop
frightening like a nightmare!
