Welcome to the Poetic License virtual open mic 12/6/20 for safety in the social distancing     The December 6th 2020 Poetic License open mic in Austin Texas could not be held at its usual Recycled Reads public bookstore because of Covid19/Coronavirus social distancing, so to bring everyone together, host Janet Kuypers started a Facebook event page for this venue, and at the usual start time (3:30 PM CST on the first Sunday of the month) it became public for anyone to post poetry, prose, or music via text, audio files or video uploads. This Poetic License meeting was shared via a Zoom meeting, live Facebook streams, and YouTube videos. Because of this, Poetic License goes/went beyond Austin, because anyone is welcome to share at this space for this Zoom meeting with people from around the United States and England, and also (potentially) the Philippines.
