of Janet Kuypers reading her poem live at “Trunk Fest” in Evanston IL 5/28/11: My Soul in the Trunk of my Car     Janet Kuypers was thrilled to be the feature on May 28th at Trunk Fest...     People could listen from the street (or walk down the sidewalk, or hang out on the lawn or the parking lot) during this Evanston mini-feature May 28th at Trunk Fest, where Kuypers had expanded her new set of poems (related to cars, since we were reading to driving cars on Oakton in Evanston, and 1 poem about the end of May and the approaching anniversary of D-Day on this Memorial Day weekend) to perform in “My Soul in the back of my car (part 2)”, where artists bring books for sale literally in the trunks of their cars.     Fearing rain, they started with Kuypers doing more than her original set of poems (which was intended to be only a 10 minute feature, but she pulled the stops when starting with her emotional well-known poems “the Burning” and “Death Takes Many Forms”).
