    WZRD Radio (88.3 FM), w/ D.J. Cathleen Schandelmeier, had a morning interview with Chicago poet Janet Kuypers 9/22/18, since she was back in her hometown of Chicago for only one week (after her move to Austin, Texas in October 2015).

    Because of this 2018 trip to Chicago, Scars Publications released a number of Janet Kuypers books to coincide with her journey to Chicago (as well as her hosting and featuring through “Poetry at The Gallery Cabaret” 9/25/18 and her In One Ear 30 minute feature 9/26/18), and this Saturday morning was the only time she could meet for this unique radio show interview. The interview also went over all of the book releases, including the two 8½" full-color full-bleed photography books “Antarctica: Earth’s Final Frontier” & “Antarctica: Wildlife” (+ select Antarctica-themed poems) after the first passenger ship visited Antarctica in 2017, the Janet Kuypers interview/journal/poetry book “In Depth”, the poetry performance art collection books “Chapter 48 (v1)” and “Chapter 48 (v2)”, and the v. 5 cc&d boss lady collection book “On the Edge”.

    During this like Chicago radio show interview, Janet Kuypers read her poems “Ocean’s Call to Dive” and “Visiting Pristine Places on the Planet” from her 8½" full-color full-bleed photography book “Antarctica: Wildlife” (which contains select Antarctica-themed poems), and toward the end of the interview she read her poem “On a High Horse Like This” from her v. 5 cc&d boss lady collection book “On the Edge”.
