Janet Kuypers reads her poetry in the “Poetry Aloud” open mic live at the Georgetown Public Library 7/14/18     July 14th marked the second time Janet Kuypers hosted the Poetry Aloud open mic 7/14/18 in Georgetown TX, which was the first meeting at the Georgetown Public Library for this open mic since July 4th, 2018. As host she welcomed poets up in this round-robin event, and although no musician happened to come to this get-together, she even sang harmony of a song with John on mandolin (along with a recording of them performing her lead vocals to his acoustic guitar) as her first performance at “Poetry Aloud”.     During readings at this open mic, Janet Kuypers also read her poetry from her poetry performance art collection books “Chapter 38 v1”, “Chapter 38 v2”, and “Chapter 38 v3” and because she was selling her copy of the book, she also read the finalé poem from the “Who What Where When Why” show that was included in the cc&d perfect-bound ISBN# 6/18 25-year anniversary book “Shining”.     There is also a YouTube playlist of the videos of this show, so you can reference all of these videos from this day in one YouTube location.
