the 2024 Poetry Bomb (one date to read poetry where poetry does’t normally occur, originated by the folks at Waiting 4 the Bus in Chicago) was April 28th 2024 (the last Sunday of April, starting at 3:30 in the afternoon CST). This year Janet Kuypers, because Circle Brewing Company was now closed down, decided to share her poetry near their outdoor grain tower (while it was still there), at her favorite Austin Brewery. She read sets of poems this year from her electronic copy of the at-the-time soon-to-be-released CyberWit 2024 Janet Kuypers poetry book “The Universe is in Your Hands,” shared as multiple Facebook live video streams and YouTube videos of her reading poetry, so these readings can be seen and heard (even if you didn’t make it to this reading for the 2024 Poetry Bomb) at any time.
