UNcorrect     The day before Kuypers’ birthday, Janet Kuypers was the poetry feature at the Jesse Oaks Politically UNcorrect Open Mic/Poetry Slam (hosted by Billie and Jacqueline) at Jesse Oaks Bar & Grill, 18490 West Old Gages Lake Road, Gages Lake (Lake County) Illinois. This was not an evening of one long set of readings from Kuypers; this was an evening where she is highlighted a number of times, reading a few poems every time.     Kuypers read a total of 9 poems in this low-key show, and we have audio and video slections (as well as links to the writings included in this show) from this show right here.     A cc&d chapbook release was also given away at this feature, and you can also download the PDF file/e-book chapbook called UNcorrect right here.
