Pluto, Plutonium & DeathJanet KuypersPeriodic Table of Poetry bonus poem, written 4/10/16 (#94, Pu)
“My kingdom is the underworld,”
and an eleven year old English girl
And for decades the rogue, this
crossed paths with brother Neptune,
club of astronomers kicked Pluto out,
seems to be the theme for Pluto. ..
after smashing heavy water (deuterium)
that whatever Uranium smashing makes
since 1940, the only thing we’ve known
Great legacy, Plutonium,
before Pluto itself was demoted
to protest, don’t kill this
are fascinated with the —
I look around me now,
Christians bombing abortion clinics.
Chicago gangs shooting some
But the darkness, the death,
named from Greek mythology,
is complete annihilation.
