Happy New Year, JanetDecember 31, 1998
So this is how the year ends for me
and I have another couple of million Kind of like last year
It’s a shame
And I should be experiencing more
It’s like there is a little time bomb
I guess that is what I have been doing So what do I have to show for it
A few more scars That is a funny way to look at things, though the scars and I don’t know what I have to show for it
All this time people have been telling me Or I just can’t hear them That’s just how my mind works I guess that is how my life goes
I’m one more year closer to the Millennium
It’s like that in a way I have a timer
So, Janet, Happy New Year
