    Chicago poet and Austin resident Janet Kuypers, after returning from her first show appearance for her two 2019 Scars Publications poetry books, “(pheromones) haiku, Instagram, Twitter, and poetry” and “Every Event of the Year (Volume one: January-June)”, was honored to join poets at the Dripping Springs City Hall, where she was asked to do a feature for Thirsty Thursday on August 15th 2019.

    With newly-written poems (while in Chicago the week before) about travel in the beginning and the ending of her show, her poetry feature started with part one (with a train noise inthe background) of poems highlighting her book “Every Event of the Year (Volume one: January-June)”. Then she changed her background sounds to listening birds chirping for the second part of her feature, where she read poems from her book “(pheromones) haiku, Instagram, Twitter, and poetry”.
