Dusty Dog Reviews The whole project is hip, anti-academic, the poetry of reluctant grown-ups, picking noses in church. An enjoyable romp! Though also serious.

On Sunday, December 7, 2003, WZRD radio (88.3 FM) in Chicago will be hosting an hour-long radio show highlighting some work from this book. Publisher Janet Kuypers, webmaster John Yotko, additional poetry contributor Charlie Newman and prose contributor David Rubin will be featured there to read their work and talk about writing and publication in this collection book. The show will also contain tracks from the CD releases that came out with the publication of this book; there may also be background music during performances from the four writers.
On Tuesday, December 9, 2003, A Chicago book release performance art show with the same four writers will take place in Chicago at the Cafe, where there will be reading performances with a live crowd. Some readings will be set to music, and all of the readings will be accompanied by a projected film image show.
If people cant tune in this radio station or cant make it to the live Chicago performance art book release show, highlights from both of these performances will be available shortly after their completion on line as well in the books section of Scars Publications, but in the mean time...

Okay, it's this simple: send me published or unpublished poetry, prose or art work (do not send originals), along with a bio, to us - then sit around and wait... Pretty soon you'll hear from the happy people at cc&d that says (a) Your work sucks, or (b) This is fancy crap, and we're gonna print it. It's that simple!
Dusty Dog Reviews, CA (on knife): These poems document a very complicated internal response to the feminine side of social existence. And as the book proceeds the poems become increasingly psychologically complex and, ultimately, fascinating and genuinely rewarding.
Children, Churches and Daddies. It speaks for itself.
Okay, butt-munch. Tough guy. This is how to win the editors over.
