the 2025 Poetry Bomb (one date to read poetry where poetry does’t normally occur, originated by the folks at Waiting 4 the Bus in Chicago) was April 27th 2025 (the last Sunday of April, starting at 3:30 in the afternoon CST). This year Janet Kuypers read inside Prost Alehouse. She read sets of poems this year from her electronic copy of the at-the-time soon-to-be-released cc&d books “Zen Moments”, “The Anniversary in this Town”, & “Smokes and Dreams”, then she read a few poems previously unread from the CyberWit book “Testament”, finishing with 3 readings from CyberWit book “Shattering the Glass Ceiling” (with the final round poem reading of poems that also appear in the book “Every Event of the Year (Volume Two: July-December)”). These readings were shared as multiple Facebook live video streams and also recorded for YouTube videos of her reading poetry, so these readings can be seen and heard (even if you didn’t make it to this reading for the 2025 Poetry Bomb) at any time.
