                           Tried
Janet Kuypers

The only souls I know
Who have tried
Or succeeded
                        in
Ending their lives
Were soldiers
Or poets
They were trained by the US military to kill
                                                                 or
They were trained by no one to
                                         create
That crafting, that creating
That was you
