mini-feature at the Café
with poems from the book Contents Under Pressure
live in Chicago October 11th 2011 (10/11/11)

Janet Kuypers did a mini-feature to end the evening of mini-feature readings at the Café (5115 North Lincoln Ave., Chicago, at a weekly poetry open mike) on Tuesday, September 6th 2011, along with other poets for an evening of mini-featrures (including 4 poets with mini-features video recorded). Kuypers read poems from her book Contents Under Pressure (which is now in it’s 2nd printing) for later release as part of audio CD releases of her book, and had all of the poems flow into one another (instead of stopping for applause between each short poem), so she made a point to have the themes of the poem flow into one another (as if they were all together to tell a story). She also played base guitar music in the background during most of her readings from musician John Yotko (who was in New York at the time andcould not attend the feature).
